Early Years curriculum development modules

A four-part training course with a focus on curriculum design and development in the early years foundation stage.

Curriculum development in the EYFS is a four-module course to support early years leaders and their teams in developing a well-sequenced and bespoke curriculum for their setting, underpinned by clear principles. 

The training is complemented by the HFL Education materials, “Curriculum design in the early years foundation stage: a step-by-step guide.” As well as detailing the process of curriculum design, the materials include exemplar skills progression cards to support colleague subject knowledge across the areas of learning and development.
