Childminder termly early years workshop

About this course

These sessions aim to improve outcomes for children to help close the gap and support those children who may not achieve as well as their peers. They will include sector and safeguarding updates, as well as training input aimed to help childminders support their children and families.

Learning outcomes

• gain an awareness of sector and safeguarding updates
• understand the offer and support available to childminders from HFL Education and Herts County Council
• training/briefing spotlight to support childminders in their role

Session focus:

Early Reflections – Insights from the new early years Ofsted inspection process and reports.

Session content

• Safeguarding and sector updates
• Reflections on the new Ofsted inspections and childminder inspection reports.
• Explore the reports and experiences of others to help you feel well informed about what to expect.

Funded for all Hertfordshire childminders as part of the HCC core contract.
