About this course:
How might we assess pupil’s learning in primary Design and Technology? What are we looking for? When and how should we look for it?
This course aims to bring together both curriculum design and assessment strategies with a focus on assessing learning in primary D&T.
The course will begin by considering the planned curriculum – how its purpose and identified milestones can guide us in what to assess, when and how.
We will explore how we might identify the core learning in a unit of work that we want pupils to know and be able to do. We will use this thinking to inform when and how we might assess learning in D&T.
We will explore key principles of formative assessment including thinking about methods of assessment for those with barriers to learning.
We will share some examples, so that schools can consider how this might look within their own setting.
This course is ideal for subject leaders and senior/curriculum leaders.
This webinar costs £59 per delegate
