“Introduction to Ofsted” for newly registered childminders in Hertfordshire

By attending this course newly registered childminders in Hertfordshire will develop confidence and understanding around their role in delivering all aspects of the EYFS statutory framework, including what to expect at their first Ofsted inspection.

This course is fully funded by Hertfordshire County Council Early Years Service and is for newly registered childminders in Hertfordshire only.

Learning outcomes

• to prepare and gain an awareness of what to expect when Ofsted visit and carry out the childminder inspection
• to understand the importance of delivering all aspects of the EYFS statutory framework
• to build confidence around how to showcase your provision during inspection

Additional information

This course is a funded course for registered childminders working with the under 5’s in Hertfordshire only. It is not suitable for group providers or schools.
